Does anyone as the sudden urge to play Assassin’s creed 2 at random ? Like, you hear the theme song and you just want to live once again Ezio’s adventures and wander around Florence streets because this game has a mystical vibe ? Access the Animus and The Ones Who Came Before are two fan projects dedicated to the Assassin’s Creed video game series, which has spanned for more than 10 years now.
As eagles have always been a very important and symbolic element of the franchise, the two fan projects decided to team up with the Eagle Heights Wildlife Foundation and have a positive and meaningful initiative that doesn’t just deal with fan content about video games, but can also have a more direct and real impact.
“O you door-keepers who guard your portals, who swallow souls and who gulp down the corpses of the dead. What a journey I have made, the things I have seen. I am but one of you.” – Bayek
Henry: Do you know, I think this map may be taking us to the Kenway Mansion!
Evie: Kenway? The pirate?
Henry: Master Assassin and pirate, yes.
Evie: How much do you know about the Shroud of Eden?
Henry: It’s said to heal the sick – popular myth is that it brings people back from the dead, but the Assassin records say that’s not true. I’ve never heard of one being in London, though. Do you really think Edward Kenway could have found one?
Evie: He traveled extensively, so it’s possible. But if he did, he kept it a closely guarded secret.
Henry: But if it’s true – what a find it would be.
Evie: Indeed. I’m eager to find out, myself. It’s surprising that you haven’t already searched the Kenway house.
Henry: Edward’s son, Haytham, joined the Templars. When he died, the house passed on to Haytham’s sister.
Evie: And in all your time in London, you didn’t go and have a look around? Weren’t even a little curious?
Henry: Truly, I didn’t expect to find anything there. We’ve no way of knowing how many times the building’s changed hands. I presumed Haytham would have had it stripped bare before he left.
Evie: But if Miss Thorne thinks the Shroud could still be there…
Henry: If there’s a vault, the Templars haven’t found it yet.
Evie: So, the Templars owned a house with Assassin treasures stored in it – and never located them.
Henry: We must be better at hiding things than they are.
Desmond: That disrupted memory seems to be getting clearer.
Rebecca: It’s amazing. The sequence is repairing itself, as if we’re helping you work through psychological trauma.
Desmond: So I’m going to be more balanced person by the end of this?
Rebecca: Oh, I have no clue. But the idea’s cool.
Shaun: Are you saying that because you feel guilty about frying his brain?
Rebecca: Shaun’s on latrine duty!
Lucy: Deal.
Shaun: Ah, of course, you side with her. Communists.
Giovanni: I need these packages delivered to associates of mine in the city. I also need you to retrieve a message for me from a pigeon coop not too far from here.
Ezio: Va bene. (Okay.) I’ll get it done.
Giovanni: Come back here when you’re finished. There are some things we need to discuss. And please, my son, stay out of trouble, hmm?
