Al Mualim: You did well, Altaïr, and have earned the right to carry a blade once more.

Altaïr: What will become of the one who helped him?

Al Mualim: That remains to be seen. Some do ill out of ignorance or fear. These men can be saved. Others suffer from corrupted wills, their minds poisoned and twisted. These men must be destroyed. Soon enough we’ll know what sort of man Jamal is.

Altaïr: I’ve passed your test then. What now?

Al Mualim: Oh, my child, we’ve only just begun. I hold here a list. Nine names adorn it. Nine men who need to die. They are plague-bringers, war-makers. Their power and influence corrupts the land and ensures the Crusades continue. You will find them. Kill them. In doing so, you’ll sow the seeds of peace. Both for the region, and for yourself. In this way you might be redeemed.

Altaïr: Nine lives in exchange for mine.

Al Mualim: A most generous offer, I think. Have you any questions?

Altaïr: Only where I need begin.

On November 13, 2007, Ubisoft released a historical fiction video game set in the Third Crusade in the Holy Land revolving around a centuries old struggles between Assassins and Templars.

10 years, 9 main series games with 9 spin-offs, several comics and novels, and a film later, the Assassin’s Creed series is known as one of the best-selling video game franchises of all time.

Thank you @assassinscreed for creating something that brought countless people that share the same love for the games together. I’m forever grateful for all the great “genetic” memories the series has created.

Long live the Creed!

George: The iron ships from here. The Templar running things is Rupert Ferris, and our target one. Target two is Sir David Brewster, who’s got his hands on a bauble that could ruin us in this wretched war.

George: Oh, right, my mistake. Ladies and gentlemen, the unstoppable Frye twins; see them nightly at Covent Garden!

Evie: George, honestly, I’ve studied the plans of the laboratory and have every route covered.

Jacob: I’ll extend your regards to Ferris.

Evie: Chat later, George, we’ve a train to catch.

Happy birthday (to me and) Jacob and Evie Frye!

Achilles: How fares the hunt, Connor?

Connor: There is progress, but I worry it is not enough.

Achilles: You must strike where you’re needed most. What if you pursued Charles Lee and your father – what then of Paul Revere? And the soldiers at Lexington?

Connor: Soldiers? There were no soldiers in those towns – only men and women who were forced to defend themselves.

Achilles: Is this not why you fight? To protect your people? Your struggle is the colonist’s struggle. In helping one, you help the other.

Connor: Encouraging words from one who thought mine a fool’s errand.

Achilles: Make no mistake – I still do. But I can’t help but feel some pride in your success.

Connor: And why should I give you any credit?

Achilles: Then don’t. But first, return the robe. And the blades. And the darts. And all of the years of training and knowledge I have bestowed upon you. Return these and then your words may have some merit.

Connor: Or you could just admit that you were wrong.

Achilles: Oh child, please. You’ve killed two men – one more salesmen than soldier. You’re gonna have to try a lot harder than that to impress me.

Connor: Is that so, old man? Or perhaps we should step outside?

Torres: Captain Kenway. Ever a Splinter in my Side. Does this Murder fulfill you?

Edward: I’m only seeing a Job done, Torres. As you’d have done with Me.

Torres: As we have done, I think. You have no Family anymore, no Friends, no Future. Your Losses are far greater than ours.

Edward: That may be. But killing you rights a far greater Wrong than ever I did.

Torres: You Honestly believe that?

Edward: You would see all of Mankind corralled into a neatly furnished Prison, safe and sober, yet dulled beyond Reason and sapped of all Spirit.

So, aye… with everything I’ve seen and learned in these last Years, I do believe it.

Torres: You wear your Convictions well. They suit you…
