According to the description from ESRB Ratings, Kassandra and Alexios are siblings.

After reading this… Wtf?! I thought during E3, the director or some big name of the ACOD team said something like “If you choose one of the two at the beginning, the other one doesn’t exist”. Or I’m under the Mandela effect?

And If this is actually legit, then consider the leaks months ago — “The other one will be the big villain”. Well, we’ll see…

ASSASSIN’S CREED ODYSSEY’S COMBAT ABILITIES OFFER POWERFUL CHOICES

In fully embracing the RPG genre, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey has put player choice front and center across the board. This doesn’t just apply to the branching story and new romance options, but also in the way you fight and the skills you bring onto the battlefield. We recently sat down with Odyssey’s Game Director, Scott Phillips, to discuss the redesigned fight mechanics and the addition of customizable combat abilities into the series.
