Of all the Money that e’er I had,
I spent it in good Company.
And all the Harm that e’er I’ve done.
Alas! it was to none but me.

And all I’ve done for want of Wit.
To Mem’ry now, I can’t recall
So fill to me the parting Glass
Good Night and Joy be with you all.

Of all the Comrades that e’er I had,
They’re sorry for my going away.
And all the Sweethearts that e’er I’ve loved,
They’d wish me one more Day to stay,

But since it falls unto my Lot,
That I should rise and you should not,
I’ll gently rise and softly call,
Good Night and Joy be with you all.
Good Night and Joy be with you all.

Duncan: All this reminds me of being back in the Old Country. Fightin’ for land, fightin’ for the right to see God my way. Didn’t take long before I realized the fight was futile and stepped aboard a ship bound for the Colonies. People over there are so wrapped up in HOW you perceive the Lord they forget we’re all part of his flock.

Stories change, Connor. The way people tell them evolves. It’s no different in the Bible and I believe that’s the real root of all the strife back home. But nobody wants to listen to me – if you don’t see it their way, you’re a heathen. But I feel we’re honestly making a difference here. That our presence is felt if not appreciated by all. Ah! And it makes me sleep easy at night and that’s all a man can ask for really.

Connor: I would like to visit your home country some day.

Duncan: Oh, would you now? You’d turn a head or two on the Emerald Isle, I’ll tell you that. Maybe one day, I’ll muster up the courage, go back and I’ll bring you with me – would be good for a laugh at any rate!

“Little Brown Jug” from Assassin’s Creed Syndicate (lyrics by Eastburn)

Man and I lived all alone,
In a little log hut we called our own;
He loved gin, and I loved rum,
I tell you what we’d lots of fun.

‘Tis who makes my friends my foes,
‘Tis who makes me wear old clothes,
Here you are so near my nose,
So tip her up and down she goes.

Ha, ha, ha, you and me,
Little Brown Jug don’t I love thee.
Ha, ha, ha, you and me,
Little Brown Jug don’t I love thee.

Ha, ha, ha, you and me,
Little Brown Jug don’t I love thee.
Ha, ha, ha, you and me,
Little Brown Jug don’t I love thee.

If all the folks in Adam’s race,
Were gathered together in one place,
Then I’d prepare to shed a tear,
Before I part from you my dear.

The rose is red, my nose is too,
Violet blue and so are you,
And yet I guess before I stop
We’d better take another drop.

Ha, ha, ha, you and me,
Little Brown Jug don’t I love thee.
Ha, ha, ha, you and me,
Little Brown Jug don’t I love thee.

Ha, ha, ha, you and me,
Little Brown Jug don’t I love thee.
Ha, ha, ha, you and me,
Little Brown Jug don’t I love thee.

Ah ha, ha, Little Brown Jug,
I do love thee!

Ha, ha, ha, you and me,
Little Brown Jug don’t I love thee!

“Drunken Sailor”

Weigh-hay and up she rises
Weigh-hay and up she rises
Weigh-hay and up she rises
Early in the morning!

What will we do with a drunken sailor,
What will we do with a drunken sailor,
What will we do with a drunken sailor,
Early in the morning?

Weigh-hay and up she rises
Weigh-hay and up she rises
Weigh-hay and up she rises
Early in the morning!

Put’em in the scuppers with a hose pipe on him,
Put’em in the scuppers with a hose pipe on him,
Put’em in the scuppers with a hose pipe on him,
Early in the morning!

Weigh-hay and up she rises
Weigh-hay and up she rises
Weigh-hay and up she rises
Early in the morning!

Put him in the brig until he’s sober,
Put him in the brig until he’s sober,
Put him in the brig until he’s sober,
Early in the morning!

Weigh-hay and up she rises
Weigh-hay and up she rises
Weigh-hay and up she rises
Early in the morning!
