I… rather not have it happen. Mainly because live action movies based off of video games are rarely well-received. And practically hated on by the fans.
And the fact that they’re already dropping big names like Fassbender as the lead role way before the script was even written or the producers were officially decided? Kind of sounds like it’s already heading in a bad direction.
Black Flag is a prequel to AC3. However, it’s not purely a prequel because of the present day storyline.
You CAN play Black Flag without playing the previous two, but you’re going run into some major spoilers once you hit the present day portion of the game (no, you can’t skip that part).
If you already know what happens in the present day and/or you could care less about it, I’d say go for it. If not, at least play AC3 before diving into Black Flag.
Personally? Not including the DLCs and spin offs…
Though the ranking of the last 4 might change if you were to ask me again later, haha.
The ones I haven’t played are the ones for the mobile phone and the DS because they didn’t support my phone and I never owned a DS. The only AC game I haven’t completed so far is Bloodlines.

There’s not really way to say this without coming off as rude, but you should know that you can find these answers through Google in seconds. And they’re much more reliable than from an Assassin’s Creed blog.
You can turn off automatic renewal by logging on to PSN and go to Account → Wallet → under “Wallet Settings” set “Automatically Add Funds to Renew Subscriptions or Pay for Pre-ordered Content” to “No”.
You can also remove any credit cards or any other payment method you’ve saved so it won’t have anything to charge to (I highly recommend doing that anyway).
If you want to extend your subscription, just keep your automatic renewal setting to “Yes” or purchase a subscription from the PSN store.
Played it once just for the cheats and the wasted screen. Never owned it.

Having a lot of games shouldn’t force you to finish all of them within a short amount of time (some games aren’t designed to, for one thing). Unless you’re renting them, they’re not going anywhere.
And please, focus on school instead of video games. That is much more important than figuring out how quickly you can get through your games. Video games will still be around regardless of how long you’ve been away from it.
This goes out to all those who are who should be doing schoolwork right now. I know most of you have exams coming up.
You technically can finish any of them in 3 days, but I’d say Revelations is probably the shortest out of the three.
