Rikkin: Egg salad on rye.

Oh, and bring it to me upstairs. I just got the 2008 data from our new Italian facility. I want to look it over in the library.

Assistant: Yes, Mr. Rikkin.

Part of a hidden dialogue I’ve had for years, but never posted until now.

Hidden Audio

(This is one of the questions in the FAQ, but I don’t know if people aren’t understanding what I’m trying to say or didn’t know that an FAQ existed…)

If I post a voice clip or dialogue and it’s tagged as “hidden audio”, it literally means that this particular dialogue was recorded during the production, but did not make it to the final cut of the game for whatever reason. It’s tucked away within the audio files of the game that is installed in your computer. The only way to get to them is to (digitally) rip open the audio files and listen to them. In other words, you cannot trigger the dialogue at all during gameplay.

Think of those posts like “bonus scenes” from movies when you purchase the DVD. Only difference being that it’s from a video game. 😆

“I found the Headless Horseman. It pains me to tell you that the stories of his collection of human heads are no fables. But he was a man; a living man who lives no more. I saw to that.” – Connor/Ratonhnhaké:ton

Dear Mr. Frye,

Perhaps you have not heard of me for our mutual friend prefers to bury my existence under a pile of Blighter corpses.

My name is Maxwell Roth, and I have acted as somewhat of a father to the ones in red. I write to you because the Blighters’ decline has caused a quite of stir in the underworld. Quite a stir indeed.

But let us get right to the point–enclosed, please find an invitation to dine with me this evening at the Alhambra Music Hall.

I would be honored to have such an esteemed guest.

Yours,

Maxwell Roth
