I have a head canon that Bishop is actually Desmond’s mom. Bill Miles seems to trust her and Rebecca knows who she is, but has been sworn to secrecy partially because it would destroy Shaun to know that (after all, we saw the way he was talking about Desmond in Syndicate).

I think she’s too young to be his mom (though her age is never confirmed), but maybe. I do like Harlan’s theory of her possibly being a defector of Erudito though.

Two things for the comic series. One: For Connor’s own issue in Reflections, I just hope its something after AC3 as there needs to be more growth for him outside of that game. Him being a good Mentor, father, and husband ya know? Two: pls pls PLEASE do Desmond’s Son some justice. While I was glad this badass family line didn’t end with Desmond, I just hope he doesn’t die a cheap ass death in a comic book or some villain. Like destroy any potential in the modern day this would be.

If they gave Ezio three games and a short film, Altaïr an appearance in Revelations, and Nikolai Orelov a comic and a game showing them as mentors, husbands, and fathers, I don’t see why they wouldn’t show Connor– another protagonist from one of the top-selling “main” games in the series–being as such also.

I’m not sure how I feel about Desmond Jr. at the moment. While I knew “THE SON HE NEVER KNEW HE HAD” plot was coming as soon they killed Desmond off, him also being a Sage is a confusing (and probably unnecessary) twist. I haven’t read Uprising yet so we’ll see what’s going to happen to him…

Re: Something to Think About – What do you think of the scene in the AC Movie where Cal sees Assassins of ages past? Are they all his ancestors, or just random Assassins? Do you think Arno (who could clearly be seen) is one of Cal’s ancestors? Do you think this new version of the Animus will be featured in the next game?

I think it’s both his and the modern-day Assassin ancestors and possibly Assassins that have come in contact with the Apple of Eden. My friend believes one of the Assassins in white was Connor (though it’s not confirmed). So if it really was him, he can’t be related to Cal as Connor is Desmond’s ancestor. However, he came in contact with the Apple in AC3. Also, there was a deleted scene from the movie that was released the other day that showed another familiar Assassin who’s also confirmed to be not related to Cal.

As for the Animus, I think it will be mentioned, but I doubt it’ll make an appearance in the next game. They’ll most likely continue the concept of the Initiate (i.e. you) using the Helix software to relive the memories of an Assassin or used the Animus mentioned in Heresy (which I have yet to read).

Headcanon: When they were growing up and training as Assassins, Jacob was a faster learner than Evie. He would pick up things a lot quicker than her, but eventually get bored of it sooner and move on to something more entertaining. But while it took time for Evie to pick up a new skill, she would keep practicing it until she became incredibly skilled at it, and more competent at it than Jacob.

Considering Evie’s meticulous approach and Jacob’s carefree nature, that’s probably close to being canon.

I just really kind of wish all of the Ubisoft games (AC, FarCry, and Watch_Dogs) all took place in a shared universe. AC and WD have hints of that, but I was hoping FC Primal would drop some as well.

I’m sure the main reason Primal isn’t really hinted is due to the story taking place much earlier than the first AC game (and both Watch Dogs games is far too modern). Perhaps if they’ll make a connection if they decide to set a future AC game in the Stone Age (though I highly doubt it).

“I just came back from watching the Assassin’s Creed Movie.

Yes, I’m well aware how late to the party I am

assassin’s creed movie makes me believe that video game movies will never be successful anymore regardless how many A+ actors you’ll put it in a movie.

I think it’s more of the producers and/or directors being the cause of unsuccessful adaptions than the actors. Sure, actors are the main focus and carries one of the biggest responsibilities when creating a film, but their performance can suffer if given poor direction and lousy plot no matter how successful they have been before.
